Married Banker Dies In Lagos Hotel During Sex Romp With Lover In Hotel

A woman, Ebere Nwachukwu has been arrested and detained by the Police in Ejigbo, Lagos over the death of her married lover who died on top of her during a sex romp in hotel.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the incident happened Saturday night at a popular hotel located at NNPC junction in Ejigbo.

The deceased simply identified as Ken was a banker with a new generation bank.

He was said to have told his wife that he would not be able to come home that Saturday night due to workload at his office.

His wife believed him while unknowingly the husband has checked in with his lover, Ebere at the hotel for a night of illicit sexual binge.

It was said that the two were on the binge in the hotel room when suddenly Ken collapsed.

Ebere immediately contacted the hotel management who rushed the deceased to the General Hospital, Isolo where doctors certified him death and his corpse deposited at the morgue.

The lover, Ebere was then arrested and detained at Ejigbo Police division over his death.

When our correspondent visited the station, Ebere was seen detained in the cell as our reporter was not allowed to speak to her.

The DPO was also not in the office to comment on the matter.

However, Police source, who confirmed the incident, said they have commenced investigation into the matter as they await the autopsy report to know the real cause of his death.

In yet another strange news which emerged online, the Lagos State Government, reported that an Iroko Tree in the Badagry area of Lagos, burst into flames and raged on for almost 24 hours.

A strange Iroko tree located at Topo Motor Park in the Badagry area of Lagos state, reportedly caught fire on Sunday and burnt for almost a day, the Lagos State Government reported.

 

While speaking exclusively to PM News, Rasak Fadipe, who is the Director, Lagos State Fire Service, disclosed that the Iroko tree caught fire on its own without anybody setting it ablaze around 7p.m. on Sunday.

“An Iroko tree on its own burst into flames for about six hours in Badagry. Firemen are on ground to prevent the fire from spreading to buildings,” he said in a text message around 1 a.m. on Monday.

 

Spokesperson, National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Ibrahim Farinloye also confirmed the incident, adding that firemen were on ground to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby buildings, but the fire could not be put out on time.

“Firemen are on ground to prevent its spread to the nearby buildings. Surprisingly when water with chemical was applied, the fire increased rapidly,” he said.

 

Around 5.30 p.m. on Monday, Farinloye confirmed that the fire on the Iroko tree had been put out.

“Two branches of the tree were burnt down but the leaves are as fresh as if nothing has happened. The tree is located in Topo motor park, Badagry,” he said.

Drama as Nigerian Soldier is Accused of Having S*xual Relations With a 15-year-old Boy in Benue

A Nigerian soldier is facing serious allegations of making sexual advances to a young boy in a Benue State community.

A soldier, Corporal Bashir, serving with 72 Battalion, Makurdi, Benue State, has been accused of sodomising a 15-year-old boy, James Usar, The Punch reports.

 

Usar, a mechanic apprentice,  lives in the Yagba area of North Bank, a suburb of Makurdi.

 

According to the youth leader in the area, Raymond Asema, Usar has been working on the soldier’s vehicle for some time  before the incident.

 

It was gathered that the soldier had lodged at a hotel in the area, White House Hotel, and had asked the boy to come to his hotel room and helped him wash some clothes.

 

The youth leader said, “He deliberately delayed the boy in his hotel room until he slept off. Around 2am, he sodomised the boy.

 

“The following day, the soldier sent the boy away, only for the corporal to later mobilise other soldiers to arrest the boy, accusing him of stealing N200,000. He was taken to the barracks where he was beaten up.”

 

The 72 Battalion army spokesman, Captain Ohegbe, said, “We received a complaint concerning the soldier, but he has been deployed in Makurdi

“We have to forward the complaint to his present place of assignment in the North-East. We will inform you of the outcome.”

A High Court sitting in Koton-Karfi in Kogi on Monday sentenced a herbalist, Ibrahim Muhammed, to death by hanging for murdering two brothers.

 

In his judgement, the Presiding Judge, Justice Alaba Omolaye-Ajileye, who sentenced the convict to death described his act as “high level of exceptional wickedness”.

 

Omolaye-Ajileye held that the prosecution had proved its case beyond reasonable doubt.

 

This is more so, he said, as the convict had corroborated the prosecution’s submission that he poisoned Mohammed Kudu Abubakar and Umar Tanko Abubakar after snatching their car.

 

“I hold that after poisoning the two brothers as the accused confessed in his downright criminality, he hit their heads with pestle (Exhibit P7) to hasten their annihilation.

 

“And, in order to avoid any trace of his brutal and inhuman act, the accused buried the dead bodies of Tanko and Mohammed in his compound.

 

“Unfortunate for him, since nothing is hidden under the sky, nemesis caught up with him.

 

“By the application of an unusual but most excellent investigatory dexterity, the Special Anti-Squad (SARS) of the Nigeria Police, Kogi State, exposed the apparently hidden crime.

 

“By your own word, after poisoning both Tanko and Mohammed and they refused to die, you used a pestle to hit them on their heads. That was a brutal homicide committed with determination and ruthlessness.

 

“The manner you committed it by your own description, make it a high-level exceptional wickedness that it can only be properly marked by death sentence, which is the only sentence I can pass on you,” Omolaye-Ajileye ruled.

 

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the convict was charged with robbery and culpable homicide, contrary to and punishable under Sections 298(a) and 221 (a) of the Penal Code to which he pleaded not guilty.

 

According to the Police First Information Report, the convict committed the offence sometime in January, 2016 at Kungbani Village in the Kogi Local Government Area.

 

He was said to have robbed Abubakar and his brother, Mohammed of a Toyota Carina E Wagon with registration number Niger: BDA 902 AA and later poisoned, killed and buried them.

 

Investigation by the police, however, led to the discovery of the plot by SARS, culminating in the exhumation of the decomposing bodies of the victims.

Tragedy struck in Agbado Oke-odo Local Council Development Area, LCDA, of Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, as pregnant woman and an okada rider were reportedly killed during the afternoon rainstorm of Monday.

 

It was learnt that the rain which started around 4pm was accompanied with by a heavy storm.

 

PM News reports that the pregnant woman who resides at Ikola Odunsi, a sprawling community in the LCDA, was killed when the house she was caved in as a result of the pressure of the heavy storm.

 

The okada rider on his part, was killed on Command Road, also within the council area, when the storm uprooted one of the trees lining the road and it fell on the motor cyclist, killing him instantly.

 

Apart from the loss of lives, properties such as houses, electricity poles, cars and other valuable items worth millions of naira were destroyed.

A mother and son who say they are ‘madly in love’ with each other have vowed to stay together despite a court order preventing their incestuous relationship, Metro UK reports.

 

Monica Mares, 37, and Caleb Peterson, 20, were found to be committing incest after a neighbour in Clovis, New Mexico, reported them to police.

 

They were due to face trial but pleaded guilty at the final hour after accepting a plea deal for three years probation with 18 months supervised.

 

They were also told to stay apart for 18 months and Mares was also told to stay away from her nine other children.

 

The mother and son couple decided to go public with their affair last year in order to raise awareness of Genetic Sexual Attraction (GSA) and make it legal for them to have a s*xual relationship.

Mares gave birth to Caleb, who was born Carlos, when she was 16 years old and gave him up for adoption soon afterwards.

 

She met him for the first time since at Christmas 2015, after the pair got in touch over Facebook.

 

Caleb moved in with her and says he fell in love with her in part because she looked after him.

 

‘I never had anyone cook me meals or give me anything,’ he told the Daily Mail. ‘I never got anything my entire life and she went out of her way to make me happy.

 

‘After about a week or so I started having feelings for her, and I guess I fell in love.’

 

The mother-of-nine reciprocated, and now says she would readily give up the right to see her other children if she was asked to choose between them and Caleb.

 

‘The first time we were physical we ended up holding hands, and then we ended up kissing – and the kissing led to other things,’ she said.

 

‘I felt comfortable with him and we fell even more deeply in love.’

But Mares says she’s afraid to go out because people in her town know about the relationship, and threaten her and call her names.

 

Caleb’s personal life has suffered too. Since the affair became public, his dad walked out on him.

The man identified as Manpreet Singh, 21, is the same height and weight as a six month old baby and is believed to be one of the smallest people in the world.

 

Currently undiagnosed, his condition remains a mystery. But now locals in Punjab, India, consider him a deity and visit him daily to be 'blessed'.

 

According to his parents parents Jagtar Singh and Manjeet Kaur, the boy was boy healthy but stopped growing when he was six months old. Sadly, doctors have never examined him properly as his family have never been able to afford medical treatment.

 

 

Jagtar said: 'We don't have money to pay for his treatment.' 

 

Additionally, Mr Singh is unable to talk and walk - he stopped moving his legs when he was three. But his family insist that he still brings joy to his fellow villagers.

 

'We have taken him to many doctors since his birth but around 5-7 doctors told us that he is suffering from thyroid and he can be treated,' his mother said.

 

'But we have given him a lot of medicines and there is no difference.'

 

She added: 'Among his relatives, as well as those who come from outside, he is considered to be like a God. Whoever he blesses will get their wish fulfilled.

 

'People don't bully my son for being short. We don't feel bad about him. We all worship him. People love him a lot. People come to worship him everyday.'

 

Interestingly, Mr Singh has two siblings, both of whom normal height. His 19-year-old sister Jaspreet stays home to take care of him.

However, the family want him to become famous so that they can get enough money for his treatment.

 

'We have consulted a lot of doctors but they also don't have any hope. But if by any chance there is a possibility, I could not be happier,' his father said.

 

 

Doctor Hemraj, a local practitioner, believes the rare condition has something to do with the thyroid.

 

'People come to me who are suffering from fever or a cold, I take care of them. But this is a different case, I have seen it for the very first time,' he said.

 

'Today science has developed so much that nothing is impossible. His treatment is also possible.'

Several residents of Akwa Ibom state have begun to relocate to villages as the economic recession take its toll.

A Vanguard report has shown that many disheartened residents and civil servants at Uyo and other cities in Akwa Ibom State are re-positioning to nearby local communities, following severe food shortages and razor-sharp increases in the cost of living, occasioned by the current economic depression.

 

The affected civil servants complained that their monthly income could no longer sustain them in the cities as prices of foodstuffs have hit the rooftop. Some of them, who spoke to NDV, explained that they moved to Itu and Ibesikpo villages where their lean finances can support their families. Signs of stress and frailty were palpable on the faces and gait of the workers and depressed residents grappling with astronomical increases in prices of essential commodities at Uyo, Eket and Ikot Ekpene and other cities we visited.

 

“There is hunger everywhere. I have a family of five and my salary in the state Ministry of Education has remained under N35, 000 for the past 10 years. I decided to leave Uyo to my village where I now reside in my late father’s house,” a civil servant, Iboro, told NDV at Ikot Ekpene.

 

Iboro, who works as a clerk, asserted dejectedly that his salary in the state’s civil service does not take him and his family beyond two weeks. His words: “Before I relocated to the village, I was depending on my customer in the market where I get foodstuff on credit to feed my children and struggle to pay the debt and my house rent when I receive my salary. I could not afford to buy clothes for my children and wife. I now concentrate on buying foodstuff for the family now that I am in the village since I no longer pay rent to the landlord in the city.”

 

At Eket where most oil companies have their presence, residents complained of high cost of living in the city and preferred returning to their local communities where rent is free and feeding less expensive. At the major markets in Eket and Ikot Ekpene visited by NDV, a cup of garri, a staple food mostly consumed by residents, which was selling at  N200 for five cups had now risen to N500 , while a cup of rice has moved from N60 a cup to N120, 100 per cent increase.

 

Traders lament: Traders who travel from Uyo to Ogoja and Gboko in Cross River and Benue states respectively to buy foodstuff, blame the sky-scraping prices of their wares on cost of transportations. A business woman who trades in yam and gari in Uyo Main Market, Akpan Andem, popularly known as ‘Mama Atam”, who spoke to NDV, said: “These days, our customers come here to complain about lack of money but who do we complain to.”

 

She explained: “In March, last year, a basin of garri from northern Cross River State costs between N2000 and N2500, but the same basin is now selling for N12000, excluding transportation.”

 

Extortion by policemen, LG officials: She also identified bad roads, extortion by policemen on the highway and haulage fees charged by government officials in all the local governments, along the highway as some of the reasons for the high cost of foodstuffs, lamenting that government was sadly doing little to ameliorate the situation.

 

She disclosed that from Uyo in Akwa Ibom State to Gboko in Benue State, there are over 15 local government areas and the driver would stop at every produce check point mounted by council to collect haulage fees as well as over 100 police check points, they were forced to part with some money, adding: “All these build up the cost price of food stuff in the cities.”

 

Business owners lament: Business owner, Mr. Chima Ebuka, who deals in fabrics and other luxury items, complained: “Nobody buys cloths any longer. Everybody is thinking of food items for the family, not clothes, shoes. I stocked my shop in December, last year, hoping to make profit, but nobody is even coming to price them.”

 

Another businessman in Uyo, Obong Okon Ikotidem, said the situation in the state capital was becoming unbearable, pointing out: “Before now, I have been selling with joy but for the past six months; it has become difficult to sell up to two percent of what I used to sell.”

 

He blamed the federal government for banning the importation of foodstuff such as rice before asking citizens to go back to the farm, saying: “It is like government took the very serious economic policy without imagining the economic consequences on the people. The federal government should have encouraged local farming by providing farming inputs for at least two years before the ban placed on importation of rice and other commodities.”

 

Monarch slams govt: A traditional ruler in the state, Ete-Idung David Etuk, who spoke with NDV, blamed the state government for being insensitive to the plight of residents in the state. Chief Etuk said the state Ministry of Agriculture has not developed any agricultural policy to reduce the state’s dependence on other states of the country for supply of foodstuffs.

 

“Over 90 per cent of the food consumed in the state comes from other states. We cannot produce anything in this state, and most people are leaving the cities to the villages where they can survive with their families,” he said.

 

NNHS rates A’Ibom high in starvation index: In 2015, the National Nutrition and Health Survey, NNHS, ranked the state highest in rates of stunting 24.1%, wasting (7.4%) underweight (21.4%) maternal malnutrition (5.3%) among the other states in the South-South region.

 

Commissioner for Health, Dr. Dominic Ukpong, at a two-day advocacy and sensitization meeting for wives of policy makers and women policy makers on leveraging resources for Infant and Young Child feeding, IYCF, programme, organized by the state ministries of Health and Women Affairs in collaboration with UNICEF, in Uyo, recently, disclosed that the state government has budgeted N59m to handle malnutrition through micro-nutrient supplementation activities under the “save one million lives” fund donated to the state

 

He identified major causes of malnutrition in the state to include ignorance, lack of adequate education, poverty, diseases, worm related problems, tuberculosis and other infections, diseases passed from mothers and poor medical services. Ukpong, who admitted that investment in nutrition has been minimal compared to the scale of the problem, said the state was now poised to mobilize the resources needed to accelerate progress against malnutrition, adding: “We will, therefore, require that countries, donor agencies, businesses, innovative financing mechanisms and even households must act in state solidarity.”

 

Gov’s wife to carry out advocacy: Lending her voice to the advocacy, the wife of the state governor, Mrs Martha Udom Emmanuel said she has, through her pet project, FEYReP, begun a systematic process of eliminating the prevalence of malnutrition and infant mortality through donation of food items to special sectors in the state, with plans concluded to carry out campaigns and advocacy across the 31 local government areas of the state.

This was even as the government raised the alarm over the rate at which residents unknowingly consumed poisonous water through underground sources, warning the petrol stations in the state to install monitoring well in their filling stations or face serious sanction. General Manager‎, Lagos State Environment Protection Agency (LASEPA), Adebola Shabi said in Lagos that most households were ignorantly drinking water already contaminated by petrochemical substances through underground water, saying that the research recently conducted in the state’s agency, Alimosho area of the state recorded the highest contaminated water by petrochemical substance. He said the decision on noise pollution came on the heels of increasing rate of petitions by residents, who were lamenting the frequent disturbance from the bear parlour, club houses and religious houses. Shabi stated that Lagos would not fold its harm and allow residents to continue to consume what could lead to cancer in the long run, alleging that a lot of foods and drugs items taken and consumed by Nigerians contain substances dangerous for consumption. According to him, a recent research conducted by the agency on well water and boreholes across the state revealed that some under ground water contain particles, substances and chemical reactions from petroleum substances which people drink regularly in the state. Shabi, who also decried the rate at which residential areas were being ‎converted to commercial areas without government’s approval, blamed the residents for not informing the government about the development. He said some of the developments were sited in the places without the Environmental Impact Assessment which, according to him, would enable the government plan for the area or possibly disallow the project from being sited in the area. He also bemoaned‎ practice of parking vehicles on the street for too long, saying residents must also report such in order not to jeopardise the state’s efforts at boosting the security in the state‎. Shabi stated that it was mandatory for religious houses to procure sound proof to reduce the effect of noise pollution on the residents. On procurement of sound proof for churches, mosques, and bear parlour and restaurants, Shabi added: “Any new churches to built must come and get a sign off from the agency, the old one should start putting sound proof now. It must be acoustic.” ‎While harping on the ban of live ban at the joints and other places, the LASEPA boss warned: ”‎any complaint from the residents henceforth there will be sanction. They must obtain permit to do so and failure to obtain permit, the fine is N500, 000. We must discourage needless noise making at our residences.” He insisted ‎that the Olusosun dump site and another popular dump site along LASU-Igando road would be relocated, adding that Governor Akinwunmi Ambode had indicated plan to remove the dumpsites. “Let me also use this medium to inform the Baales and other community leaders and residents to inform the police and government on strange development in their areas. A lot of development takes place unknown to government because people in the area refuse to inform the government and this why residential areas are converted to industrial areas. EIA is essential in any development and the community must be carried along in doing it. “There will no be issue that Ire-Akari area in Isolo has been turned to commercial area. ‎People refuse to talk or raise alarm when the areas was being turn to industrial area,” he said. Shabi, who said the agency had discovered that hundreds of homes in Lagos particularly areas with much concentration of filling stations were consuming contaminated water with petrochemical substances, said that it was mandating the filling stations to immediately install monitor well in their station especially those who are yet to do so. According to him, “We have mandated all the petrol stations in Lagos State to install monitoring well and we will start the enforcement any moment from Easter holiday. This order was given in September last year. This is to check self regulation. This is to check leakage from their underground facilities. A two-year research was also conducted in LASEPA. “We picked over 100 water samples from Alimosho, being the most populous area in the state, down to Epe. You will be amazed that out of the water samples we took only few are good for consumption. When we have theses results ours is to interpret with statistical model. After we examine the cause of the problem in the water, we discovered that the highest cause was petroleum product in the water, the other were microbial load due to the proximity of the well or boreholes to the soak away. “Most people just call labourers to come and dig their boreholes without consideration for the flow of ground water. The monitoring well must be done by a technically inclined person because they must look at the flow of the oil and the water. The same way when digging borehole, the flow of the water must be considered with flow of the soak away. "All these will help in averting needless deaths and diseases. But most of the contaminated water in the state are as a result of petrochemical substance in them due to the citing of the petrol station in residential areas. We all know that petrol substances penetration in the grand is faster especially when the ground is not clayish.”

Airline pilot Brian Halye, 36, and his wife Courtney, 34, are believed to have taken a high quantity of fentanyl – a synthetic opiate much stronger than heroin. A tragic 911 call released by police revealed the moment a 13-year-old boy told the call operator that he woke up to find the couple on the floor. He added: ‘My sister said they are not waking up. They’re not breathing… They were very cold.’ He said that one of his sisters said his father was pale with black lines in his face. The children – aged between nine and 13 – made the discovery at their home in Centreville, Ohio, on Thursday, reports the Mirror. The couple each had two children from a previous relationship and the father of Mrs Hayle died from an accidental drug overdose in 2007 at the age of just 27. Mr Hayle’s two children have been taken in by their mother, while the other children are said to be being looked after by family, Dayton Daily News reported. Mr Halye was a pilot for Spirit Airlines for nine years. The company said in a statement: ‘Captain Hayle served at the airline for just over nine years. ‘Our hearts go out to the family, friends and colleagues of Captain Halye.’ It may take up to six weeks for a toxicology report to determine cause of death.

The deceased, Julio A Texas mom is distraught after her 11-year-old son took his life after being bullied at school, according to family members. Mayra Rodriguez said her son, Julio, a sixth grader at L.V. Stockard Middle School in Dallas, was being bullied and pressured to sell drugs at school before his took his life last Thursday. Rodriguez said she had noticed her toddler son wasn’t in his crib that night and when she asked him why, he told her that Julio had kicked him out of the room. “I went into his room. That’s where I found him hanging down,” Rodriguez told InsideEdition.com. "My son hanged himself in the closet due to bullying.” Rodriguez said she began noticing drastic changes in Julio’s behavior just days before his death. “Days prior to the accident he had told me, 'Mom if I fight in school would you get mad at me?' because he was a person that wouldn’t fight with nobody and I said ‘yeah, you go to school to learn.’” Rodriguez said that she'd instructed her son to go to teachers and counselors to talk to them about the problem, but he said he had and they hadn’t listened. “I knew something was going on because he was hitting the table, hitting the walls. I didn’t know the severity of the situation. I didn’t know how bad it was. I wish I could have acted but that’s just wishing,” Rodriguez said. Rodriguez, who has three other children that have graduated from the school and a seventh grader who still goes there, said her daughter had seen the bullying but didn’t think it was serious. Robyn Harris, a spokesperson for the Dallas Independent School District, told InsideEdition.com that Julio did visit a counselor before his death, but the counselor had asked him to come back after lunch. Harris said when the counselor looked for Julio, he was in class taking a test. "The student was a really upbeat kid. He volunteered and spent time with the teachers," Harris said. She said there was no evidence of bullying. Still, Rodriguez said she blames the school for what happened. "Our house is not an aggressive environment. We are a very loving family. I don’t know how this escaped out of our hands,” Rodriguez said. “I should have stepped in more and looked into it more,” she continued. “I can’t cry no more. When I hold his clothes, it hurts me. When I see his backpack, it drains me. I say, 'how can this happen this way?' Talk to your kids. Love your kids every day.”

NYSC Member reportedly brutalized by N-Power teacher in Delta State

A corp member serving in Delta State with the name, Rufai Bilikis was brutally assaulted by an N-Power teacher, her friend, Kasumu Miriam claims.

The teacher, Enuofu Benjamin allegedly assaulted her after she refused to hand over money allocated to their house for their school’s inter-house sports competition.

Bilikis who is serving in Obodeti senior secondary commercial school, Ndokwa west LGA of Delta State, has reported the incident to NYSC’s local government inspector and the Police, but no action has been taken.

Here’s what her friend Kasumu Miriam wrote;

“Good day, my name is kasumu mariam omotoyosi. I am a Corp member, currently serving in edo state.

I would like to report a case involving on of my friend who is serving in delta state. Her PPA is ‎Obodeti senior secondary commercial school, Ndokwa west LG. She was beaten up by an N-power teacher named Enuofu Benjamin because she refused to handover the money allocated to their house inter house sport for him to flex with it.

After the incident, she reported at Abbi police station, Delta state, but nothing has been done about it. She also reported to her local government inspector and no action has been taken. I have attached pictures as a proof and also a copy of the IDcard of the Corp member in question.”

The man identified as Kevin Simiyi told the court that he was too afraid to chat up women that was why he r*ped the hen.

There was no one else either, I knew that much. My mother died while birthing me. Ever since, I had been my father’s heartbeat. And he was my breath. I never missed my mother. I never knew her, never would meet her. I would, perhaps, have liked to know her, but somehow I thank God she wasn’t with us. It would have been awkward. I don’t think I could have shared my father with any one.

I Warned My Wife Three Weeks Ago About Preaching In The Morning – Husband Of Murdered Preacher Says

Elijah Olawale, the bereaved husband of RCCG evangelist, Eunice Olawale, who was murdered while she was preaching at Bwari, Abuja on Saturday July 9th, said he warned his wife about preaching in the morning two weeks ago.

Speaking with The Sun, Elijah said

“About three weeks ago, my wife went to the back of my house. That morning, after preaching, she came and told me that a man in the mosque heard her and called on people to listen to what she was saying.

When she came back and told me about it, I warned her. I did that because I was a Muslim before I converted and became a Christian.

I told her to be careful. I told her that although what the man in the mosque said was commendable, she needed to be careful.

For about a week, she did not go out to preach because of the warning. That was about three weeks ago that I warned her. The comments made by the man in the mosque were not against her. In fact, they were commending her.”he said

Elijah said his wife was the breadwinner of his family.

“I am a pastor, and a pastor depends on what God gives to him. Sincerely speaking, my wife was the breadwinner of this home.

That is the truth. She sold things to take care of the house. She was the one God used to take care of this house.

In the past, I was into business. But my wife and I agreed about two years ago that I needed to face the ministry since the business was affecting it.

She said I should be fasting and praying for people. She was the one who paid the school fees and took care of other things.

My wife always went out early in the morning for the ‘Morning Cry,’ to preach. On that fateful morning, she went around 5.30am and I was still in bed because we had a vigil overnight.

She participated for a while and slept because she was going out to preach in the morning. Two of my boys are footballers, so they went to the field to play.

And when they came back, they told me that they heard some footballers saying that they butchered a woman preaching early this morning.

So, when I heard this, we trekked down with the short I was putting on and we did not see anybody, but we saw blood on the ground.

I asked a policeman around and he said it is true but that they had taken her to Phase 4 Police Station.

I went to the station with my children and when we got there, I saw the lifeless body of my wife at the back of the police van and there, she was taken to the mortuary.

The incident happened between 5am and 5:30am because she usually went out by 5am and came back by 6am.

I fell down when I saw the body of my wife covered. I cried. I was too tired and could not drive back home. Someone had to drive us back to the house”he said.
